OBITUARY: NW Arkansas Times, Dec. 13, 1995 - Bentonville, Carl L. Banks, 83, of Bentonville, died Tuesday Dec. 12, 1995 at Bentonville Manor Nursing Home. Born Nov 1, 1912 in Hiwasse, the son of Homer Banks and Nancy Elizabeth Burnett Banks, he and his brother owned and operated Banks Ford Sales. He was a member of the First Christian Church in Bentonville. Survivors are his wife, Hazel Horton Banks of Bentonville; two brothers, Curt Banks of Overland Park, Kan. and Harold Banks of Bentonville; a daughter, Linda Chick of Bentonville; and three grandchildren. Funeral will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at Callison Lough Funeral Chapel in Bentonville with Dr. Don White and Rev. Garl L. Hagan officiating. Burial will be in Bentonville Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the First Christian Church of Bentonville.
