   Mrs. Margaret Baker, 82, widow of J.T. Baker of Axtell, died at 5:45 o'clock this morning at the Atchison hospital after an extended illness.
   A daughter of Washington and Delphene Marshall, Margaret Elizabeth Marshall was born June 4, 1879, on a farm in the Nortonville community.
   She was married June 15, 1930, to J.T. Baker in Atchison. Their home was in Axtell where Mr. Baker was in the grocery business until his retirement. He died in 1958.
   Mrs. Baker and her daughter, Mrs. Hazel Elliott, moved to Atchison after Mr. Baker's death.
   After the death of Mrs. Elliott Feb. 1, 1959, another daughter, Mrs. William Thompson, and Mr. Thompson of Rockford, Ill., came here to care for Mrs. Baker.
   Mrs. Baker was a member of the Methodist church in Axtell and since coming here had attended the First Christian church.
   She leaves two daughters, Mrs. William (Esther) Thompson of the home and Mrs. Willis (Gertrude) Kinsey, Kansas City; a son, Harold Moxley, Richland, Wash.; two sisters, Mrs. May Buckingham, Topeka and Mrs. Ida Council, Los Angeles; a brother, William Marshall, Seattle, Wash.; eight grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren. A son, Howard Moxley of Atchison, died Aug. 1, 1956.
