Mr. and Mrs. W. O. Smith and family and Mr. and Mrs. H. G. Burris were in Allen County last week because of the death of Mr. J. F. Burris, at LaHarpe father of Mrs. Smith and Mr. Burris, who died Friday evening after a short illness, age 79 years. The burial was in the Moran Cemetery. The elder Burris had visited his children here many times and was well known to a number of the people hear about, who sympathize with the bereaved in their affliction.
