Birth: 1851
Owsley County

Death: Jun. 11, 1899

Minty was the daughter of John Hall and Polly unknown. She married William Preston Robinson, b. abt 1856, about 1868 in Wolfe Co., KY. Children are Arabella "Belle" Robinson b. 1869,who married Boone Gilley, William "Levi" Robinson b. 1874, who married Sissy Hall and Ida Tester, Mary Ann Robinson b. 1878, who married Wm. Floyd Stidham, and Harlan Robinson b. 1883 who married Barbara. Minty died 11 Jun 1899 in Wolfe Co., KY.

I have not yet been able to locate Minta's grave, but since her husband Wm Preston is buried in Holiby Cemetery, (Public Square Cem.) I have decided to memorialize her here also. She is most likely buried here also.

John and Polly Hall have many descendants living in Kentucky and Oklahoma. The manager of this memorial is a direct descendant of Mary Ann and her husband Wm. Floyd Stidham. I am the granddaughter of the girl Roxie who wrote the poem about her grandma Minty Robinson.

GGG Grandmother: Someone found a picture of you...Minty. My grandmother loved you and missed you very much after they moved to Oklahoma. Just for your information, she was a lovely person, wonderful grandma, very sweet, great cook! May you rest in peace.
