Norman Gail Hancock, 75, of Brandon, died Sunday (Dec. 17, 1989) at James A. Haley Veterans Hospital.

He was born in Dry Branch, W.Va., and came here nine years ago from Charleston, W.Va. He was a machine operator and was an Army veteran of World War II.

He was a member of the Brandon Church of the Nazarene, Disabled American Veterans and the Veterans of Foreign Wars, both in Charleston.

Survivors include a son, Thomas, Martinez, Ga.; a daughter, Dorma Igo, Brandon; six grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
