Thomas Edward Bazzarre, Jr. of Greenbrier, Arkansas, passed into the beauty of God's heaven on April 2, 2004. He will now be preparing a place for his wife of 65 years, Mary Frances Jackson Bazzarre.
Born June 27, 1917, Tom was the oldest son of seven children. Two brothers, Roy and Jack Bazzarre of Beckley, West Virginia and one sister Selina Stanley of Massilon, Ohio survive him.
He is also survived by his daughter, Judy Skinner (Jerrell) of Greenbrier, and son, Thomas Edwaard Bazzarre, III (Becky) of Minnneapolis, MN; seven grandchildren: Lonnie Teague (Michelle), Bud Teague (Suzy), Lynn Branham (Clint), Thomas Edward Bazzarre, IV (Colleen), Mary Elizabeth Leatherman (Mike), Shelia Johnson (Shawn), Debbie Powell (Marty) and 18 great-grandchildren, Clinton, Nathan, Rebecca, Rachel, Luke, Sarah and Joshua Branham; Hannah, Caleb, and Mariah Teague; Katie and Mary Ruth Teague; Christopher and Carissa Johnson; Stephanie and Heather Powell; Yasuko Matsuno; and Thomas Edward Bazzarre, V.
He was a World War II veteran in the 81st Bomb Squadron, 12th Bomb Group of the United States Air Force. He served his country as a Turret Gunner on a B25 Bomber in the Burma/India Theatre of War. He is a life long member of the Baptist Church and a retired Insurance Executive.
Visitation with the family will be 6 to 8 p.m., Sunday, April 4th, 2004 at 11 and 13 Jennifer St. (Skinner and Bazzarre homes) in Greenbrier. Memorial service will be 10:00 a.m. Monday, April 5th, 2004 at the First Baptist Church in Wooster, Arkansas.
