Ralph A. Dickison, 90, of North Wales, PA formerly of Warwick, Pa., and Northport, N.Y., died Monday, March 31, 2008, at Temple University Hospital, Philadelphia. Born in Newton, N.J., he was the son of the late John and Elizabeth (Phillips) Dickison. His wife, the late Muriel (Muffley) Dickison died in 2001. He worked as a business executive for several manufacturing firms. He was President of Gibbs Manufacturing in Wisconsin. Previously he worked in executive positions at Pratt and Whitney, Hart Manufacturing and Haydon, Division of General Time Corporation, all of Connecticut. He retired as president of Stanton Magnetics, Plainview, N.Y. Earlier he worked at General Precision Equipment, Essex Rubber Company, and Arma Corporation, all of New Jersey. A graduate of Hackettstown, N.J. High School, he attended Ohio State University, the University of Hartford, and gained a degree in industrial engineering from Fairleigh Dickinson University. During World War II, he was a Machinists Mate Second Class in the Navy from 1944 to 1946. He was a member of the Sons of the American Revolution, Civitan, American Legion, and an Elder in the Northport United Methodist Church, Northport, N.Y. Survivors: Daughter, Karen (Henry) Ciurley of Quakertown, Lynne (Perry) Peterson of Portland, Ore.; three granddaughters; brothers, Arthur of Augusta, N.J., Warren of Belvidere, N.J., and George (Judy) of Belvidere, N.J., Predeceased by brothers, John, William, Fred, and Norman, and sisters, Dorothy Wildrick and Helen Smith.
