ELIZABETHVILLE Jack L. Cooper, 63, of 59 Mayfield St. died Sunday from injuries suffered in an auto accident.
He worked for Chromalloy American Corp.; was a a mail carrier in the Elizabethville area; an Air Force veteran of the Korean War; and a member of Millersburg VFW and American Legion posts and Wiconisco Fire Company.
Surviving are his wife, Barbara T. Cooper; two stepsons, Mickel Bingaman of Perry County and Robert Brown of Loyalton; three stepdaughters, Debra Fenstermacher of Wiconisco and Patricia Donnell and Tina Brown, both of Elizabethville; a brother, Mark of Millersburg; four sisters, Evelyn Dressler and Ruth Koppenhaver, both of Millersburg, Lindy Cooper of Harrisburg and Mary P. Enck of Camp Hill; and 13 stepgrandchildren.
Services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday in Hoover Funeral Home. Burial, with military honors, will be in Maple Grove Cemetery.
Visitation will be from noon to 2 p.m. Thursday in the funeral home.
Memorial contributions may be made to American Cancer Society, 1500 N. Second St., Harrisburg 17102.
