Marion Kelm Wed to H. F. Barton
Miss Marion Kelm, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. J. H. Kelm, 34 Broome St., was married October 22 in the home of her parents to H. Fayette Barton of Nanticoke Ave., Endicott.
The Rev. Hinson V. Howlett, pastor of Conklin Avenue Baptist church, performed the ceremony.
Mrs. Herman Mathewson, sister of the bridegroom, was matron of honor. Best man was Herman Mathewson.
The bride wore a gown of brown brocade velvet with brown accessories and a corsage of white chrysanthemums. Her only ornament was a cameo necklace, the gift of the bridegroom.
Mrs. Mathewson was gowned in pampas green velvet with black accessories and a corsage of yellow chrysanthemums. The bride's mother wore a corsage of white and yellow chrysanthemums with her costume of woods green.
Miss Betty Swearingen sang Wedding music played by Mrs. John Smith.
Mr. and Mrs. Barton left for a motor trip through the New England states after a reception for 25 guests. The bride chose a burgundy velvet ensemble with brown accessories for traveling. After Saturday the couple will reside at 34 Broome St.
