Please note: Joseph Groves is actually buried in Brown County, IL, in an undisclosed location, as is his daughter Sarah Ann Groves Riley, his first wife Catherine, and the infant, Henry. His will was probated in Brown County, IL. Thanks to information provided by Rebecca Groves Sandberg, I was able to view and copy it. This memorial was probably established by the family of Joseph's second wife, Elizabeth Ann Hunter Champ Groves.
