92, passed away at home on January 14, 2006. He was preceded in death by his wife, Xenia Haushalter Gills of 22 years; three brothers and two sisters. He is survived by children, John C. Gills (TX), Caryl Gills Vlah (PA); and by sons from marriage, Karl A. Haushalter Jr. and John K. Haushalter of California and Texas respectively; Linda Brown Lynn, niece by marriage; sister, Edith Reddick (PA); ten grandchildren, six great-grandchildren. Jack Gills was born in 1913 in Grove City, PA. He was employed by Hughes Aircraft in Buffalo, NY during World War II and relocated to Tucson, AZ in 1947. He was employed by Sunset and then Bordens Dairy until his retirement in 1978. Jack lived at the Friendly Village of the Catalina's for the last 14 years. He enjoyed golf, University of Arizona sports, family and friends. He was a generous and wonderful human being and will be greatly missed. A memorial service will be held Saturday, January 28, at 1030 a.m. in the Chapel of Catalina United Methodist Church at 2700 E. Speedway. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his name to the Pima Council on Aging, 8467 E. Broadway, Tucson, AZ 85710-4009. Arrangements by EVERGREEN MORTUARY & CEMETERY
