Shayla Denise Carroll, 30, Kokomo, passed away at 6:46 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 22, 2015. She was born in Kokomo on Nov. 6, 1985, the daughter of Michael and Tonya Barnett Carroll.

Shayla was a 2004 graduate of Oak Hill High School and was employed by the Chrysler Corp. in Kokomo. She was an avid fisherman and thoroughly enjoyed camping.

She is survived by her parents, Mike and Tonya Carroll, Converse; brothers, Joshua Carroll and his wife Deanna, Converse, and Kyle Carroll and his girlfriend Kayla Eudy, Converse; her boyfriend, Christopher Evans, Kokomo; nieces, Gracie and Joshlyn Carroll; nephews, Tanner and Blake Carroll; and stepson Kaden Wood.

A service celebrating the life of Shayla Denise Carroll will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 28, 2015, at Converse Church of Christ, 301 E. Wabash St., Converse, with Pastor Max Johnson officiating. Family and friends will gather from 2 to 8 p.m. Friday at Converse Church of Christ.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Laird-Eddy Funeral Home, Amboy.
