Beverly J. Frost, 78, of Johnson City, went to be with her Lord and Savior on September 23, 2011. She is survived by her devoted husband of 59 years, Boyd A. Frost; and her children and their spouses, David Frost, Binghamton, Steven and Marsha Frost, Vestal, Rodney Frost, Endicott, and Nathan and Amy Frost, Binghamton; her grandchildren, whom she adored, Amber Leigh and husband, Jim Thayer, Elaine Ruby Frost, Caleb Thomas Frost and Grace Elizabeth Frost. Beverly was born February 16, 1933 in Williamsport, PA to the late Harry J. and Rubie V. (Haus) Smith. She lived all her life in Johnson City and graduated from Johnson City High School. She and Boyd married June 14, 1952 by the Reverend J.C. McGuinniss. She was a devoted member of the Primitive Methodist Church of Johnson City, serving in many capacities: teaching the Gleaner's Class of Adult Ladies, Church Librarian, Cradle Roll Caregiver, Adult Choir Member, as well as making herself available to whatever the Lord's needs might be. She enjoyed reading and crocheting, traveling with her husband on many trips with fellow Christian friends and loved ones. Viewing will be held at 12 Noon on Monday, September 26 at the Primitive Methodist Church in Johnson City, NY. Funeral services and a celebration of Beverly's life will be held at 1 p.m. Rev. Elvin S. Murphy will officiate. Interment will be in Vestal Hills Memorial Park.
