Married May Justesen Aug. 26, 1908, she died in 1925. Childern of this Marriage. Sons; Clarence McKinley Lund,James Robert Lund, George Gordon Lund, Daughter Opal Evelyn Lund Latimer.
Married Jennie Nellie Larsen on July 23, 1930.
Son; Melvin J Lund, Daughters; Margie Ilene Lund Butt and Ruth Nellie Lund Latimer.

Funeral Services Friday at 1:oo p.m. for James Lauritz Lund, 87.
Funeral services well be held Friday at 1 p.m. in Third LDS Ward Church for James Lauritz Lund, 87, who died of natural causes August 17, 1971 at his home.
Friends may call at Jacobs Mortuary Thursday night from 7 to 9 p.m. and on Friday one hour prior to services.
Burial well be in Mt. Pleasant City Cemetery directed by Jacobs Mortuary.
He was born August 23, 1883 in Mt. Pleasant, A son of Hans L. Lund and Margretha Juhler Lund. He lived most of his life in the paternal home in this city. He was a sheepman, except for a few years spent working at the Garfield smelter.
He married May Justesen August 26, 1908. To them four children were born. She died March 28 1925. He married Jenny Nellie Larsen, July 23, 1930 in the Manti LDS Temple. Three children were born to this union.
He was a high Priest and a active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. Two children preceded him in death.
Surviving are his widow, five sons and daughters, Robert (Bob) Lund, Mt. Pleasant; Melvin J Lund, Mapleton, Utah; Mrs. Kenneth (Opal) Latimer, Mrs. Ray (Margie) Butt, both of Salt Lake City; Mrs. Earl (Ruth) Latimer, Draper; 21 Grandchildren; 11 great- grandchildren; a brother,Joseph L. Lund, Mt. Pleasant,and a sister, Mrs. Clea Jensen,Sandy, Utah. (August 19, 1971 - The Mt. Pleasant Pyramid)
