Jeremiah Norcross was born in 1791 in Rindge, NH, the son of Jeremiah and Lucy (Chaplin) Norcross. Jeremiah was the victim of the spotted fever outbreak that swept the region in that period, It also claimed the life of his father who died December 1, 1811. Jeremiah died November 25, 1811, aged 19 years.
