Samuel Arendell, aged 79 years, died at his home in Manchester at 5:20 o'clock Friday morning. Mr. Arendell had been in poor health all summer, and seriously ill the past two weeks. He was afflicted with a kidney trouble which in conjunction with the natural frailties of extreme age caused his demise. He is survived by his wife who also is quite feeble, one son, Wm. Arendell and a sister, Louisa Arendell, also survive.
Funeral services were conducted by Rev. B. P. Johnson at the residence, Saturday afternoon at two o'clock and burial in Manchester cemetery. Deceased had lived all his life in Manchester and vicinity.
