Graveside service was held Monday, July 24, 2000 at 11 a.m. at Park Hill Cemetery. Service was under the direction of Hart Funeral Home, Rev. J.D. McCarter officiating. Serving as pallbearers were Chuck Aich, Lynn Westmoreland, Jess Dreadfulwater, Shag Harris, Charles Hougland and Brice Barnhart. Honorary pallbearers were Charles Dreadfulwater and Joel Harris. Charles Dale Dreadfulwater, son of Sue and Charles Dreadfulwater, was born July 26, 1967 in Claremore, OK and died Thursday, July 20, 2000 in Tulsa, OK after reaching the age of 32 years, 11 months and 24 days. Charles married Darla Annette Dreadfulwater on August 1, 1988. Charles and Darla lived in Tahlequah, OK. Charles was an avid outdoorsman who loved fishing and stock car racing. He also enjoyed playing ball and spending time with his family and friends. Charles was a Wrecker Driver for the City Wide Wrecker Service in Tulsa for Chuck Aich for 3 years. Charles Dreadfulwater was preceded in death by his grandmother, Nancy Delores Ballard Parks and his grandfather, Charles Dreadfulwater. He is survived by: his parents, Sue and Charles Dreadfulwater of Tahlequah; his wife, Darla Dreadfulwater of the home; 5 children, Tiffany and Rachelle Turner, Darla Ann, Charles Duane and Patricia Delores Dreadfulwater, all of Tahlequah; 1 sister, Leslie Rana Dreadfulwater of Tahlequah; his grandparents, Loyd and Oneta Westmoreland of Seminole; his grandmothers, Olive Westmoreland of Hutchinson, KS and Georgia Hanks of Tulsa. He is also survived by: 3 aunts, Jewel Hale of Marion, OH, Peggy Wilson of Chelsea, OK and Fern Westmoreland of Nickerson, KS: 8 uncles, Jess Dreadfulwater of Muskogee, Henry Dreadfulwater of Sallisaw, Thomas Dreadfulwater of Tulsa, Sonny Dreadfulwater of Chelsea, Deannie Dreadfulwater of Tulsa, Lynn Westmoreland of Tahlequah, Mark Westmoreland of Wichita, KS and David Westmoreland of Hutchinson, KS; as well as a host of other family and friends.
