I found that Robert Foote and Joan Brooke are documented on pages 438 & 439 of Ancestors of American Presidents (2009 Edition) by Gary Boyd Roberts. They are the ancestors of the 4 following United States of America Presidents: Rutherford Hayes (19th); William Howard Taft (27th); Richard Milhous Nixon ((37th); George Herbert Walker Bush (41st); George Walker Bush (43rd).
I purchased this book. I couldn't find an e-book, but it can be purchased at Amazon or

An article in The American Genealogist, Vol 72, page 54-5, gives our Robert's parents as JOHN Foote (d.1558) and ELLEN Warren, and further states that Ellen married a man named John Hall following said John's death.
This information agrees with The Foote Family Association.
The link to Helen Warren Foote as Robert's mother initially was tentative. There are compelling genealogies where this appears to be fact.
Robert and Joan had the following children: Robert; Elizabeth; James; Mary; Francis; Joshua; Joseph; Daniel and Nathaniel.
I found a copy of the original will on Ancestry.com as well as the document proving the will.
11-2-18 I reviewed the death date per a suggested edit. I reviewed Robert's will dated 27 January 1608 at Shalford, Essex, England. It is possible that he died the day he wrote the will, but I adopted the following day as his death deferring to the the Foote Family Association's date. There are documents that the will was proved 15 Feb, 1608. My feeling is he was buried sometime after the date of the will but before it was proved on February 15 which is two weeks after he died. I found no definitive documentation on the burial date.
There is a conflicting information between TAG Vol 55 page 203, stating Robert made his will and died at Shalford, and TAG Vol 53, page 201 stating Robert made his will and died at London, but was buried at Shalford.
Per FAG member Mary Stim 47609138 (paraphrased) "Roberts Foote's Will was written 27, January 1608, proved 15 February 1608... I think 5 Feb 1608 would be the correct death date. I don't think there is a document or at least not one that has been found yet giving the exact date of death. I don't have access to the parish records, if they are still around."
