Professional Soccer Player. He played for Ferencváros, Budapest Honvéd, Young Fellows Zürich, FC Barcelona and Hungary National Team, the legendary "Mighty Magyars". After Hungarian revolution he moved to Catalonia, Spain, where played for FC Barcelona in late 1950's. He was a teacher in the header. Journalists named him as the "man in the head of gold" and the man got seven "hat-tricks" (3 goals in a game). In Barcelona won 1 "Fair Cup", two Spanish leagues and 2 "Generalissimo's Cups". He retired in 1966, owned a bar in the city of Barcelona and finally committed suicide by jumping from the 7th floor of a Quiron Hospital, where he was being treated for cancer. He was originally buried at Cementiri de Montjuic in Barcelona until his exhumation on October 26, 2012, and in September 21 was buried in Budapest. (bio by: Errete)
