Clyde married Sophie Fink Hettinger on Nov. 27, 1947, in Lovell and moved his new family Richard, Jerry and Rose to Byron, where three more sons were added to the family home.
Clyde worked many years for C.A. Lewis farming and working sheep. Later, he farmed for Burchell and Fred Hopkin. After his retirement he spent many hours gardening and volunteering at the Senior Center in Lovell.
Clyde was preceded in death by his parents, wife Sophie, daughter Linda, brothers Wilber, Fred, Cal and Don, sister Leila Johnson, daughter-in-law Virginia Harvey and grandson Richard Harvey.
He is survived by children Richard (Lillian) Hettinger, Lovell; Jerry (Joy) Hettinger, Billings; Rose (Kent) Wolz, Casper; Clyde Jr. (Dale) Harvey, Virginia Beach, Va.; Dave Harvey, Glendale, Ariz., and Allen (Elaine) Harvey, Lovell; brothers Glen, Pete, Mel of Byron and Ed of Sheridan; 23 grandchildren; 57 great-grandchildren and 22 great-great-grandchildren.
