James F. Bond received a good practical education in the common schools of his
native county. He has made farming his chief occupation, and now owns a farm of 500
acres, which he values at $15,000. In 1860, Mr. Bond married
Miss L. K. Tomlinson, and three children have blessed their union: William,
a physician at Sparta, Ky., James R, and Florence. Mr. Bond is a Democrat.
