Mrs. Shirley Sloan Felder of Floyd Drive, Augusta, widow of James C. Felder entered into rest Thursday, October 11, 2001, at the residence.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, October 13, 2001, at Elliott Sons Lumpkin Road chapel, with the Rev. Monty Guice officiating. Interment Hillcrest Memorial Park.
Mrs. Felder was born in Milledgeville and had lived most of her life in Augusta, she was a homemaker and a member of Open Door Baptist Church.
Family members include a daughter, Yvonne Clements of Augusta; a son James E. Wren Sr. of Brunswick; stepsons, Wayne Felder of Little Rock, N.C., Richard Felder of Augusta; three brothers, Walter Sloan and James L. Sloan, both of Milledgeville, James S. Sloan of Albuquerque; four sisters, Martha Garner, Rosa Robinson, and Emmie Reed, all of Milledgeville, Sara Horne of Miami; numerous grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home, Friday evening from 7-9 p.m.
