J. A. Campbell, died at his home in North Winona Thursday morning of last week after a protracted illness. Mr. Campbell's health began to fail about a year ago and he gradually grew worse. He was one of the best known men in this county and served one term as a member of the Board of Supervisors.
His remains were interred at Mission cemetery Friday afternoon. Rev. J. H. Hooks conducted the services. He is survived by a wife and three sons, Albert of Indianola, Wallace of Grenada, and John of Arkansas.
