NAPPANEE—Dorothy Lucille Blucker, 88, 555 E. Broad St., died Oct. 2, 1996 at 3:25 p.m., at the Elkhart General Hospital.

She was born Oct. 4, 1907 in Kosciusko County to Frank and Elizabeth (Heckaman) George.

She married William “Bill” E. Blucker, June 9, 1954. He preceded her in death on Feb. 11, 1994. She worked for many years as a cook at Ossies Restaurant in Nappanee. She is a member of the North Main St. Mennonite Church.

Surviving [are] one daughter; Mrs. (Ben) Betty Murphy of Nappanee; two grandsons; Mike Murphy of Nappanee and Tim Murphy of South Whitley; and eight great-grandchildren.

Preceded in death are two sisters; Cora Snider and Bessie Carl; two brothers; Arthur and Herman George; and one son, Kenneth Eugene Mishler.

The funeral will be held at the Thompson & Yoder Funeral Home, Oct. 5, 1996 at 10:30 a.m. Rev. Ken Bontreger is the clergy. Memorials can be made to Riley Children’s Hospital, Indianapolis.

Burial will be at the Bremen Cemetery.
