Services for Hazel Marie Holladay DuBois, 84, of Lubbock, will be held at 2:30 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 26, 2007, at Oakwood Baptist Church. Burial will follow at Resthaven Memorial Park. The family will receive friends today from 7-8 p.m. at Franklin-Bartley Funeral Home.

Mrs. DuBois passed away on Sunday, Sept. 23, 2007.

Hazel was born on June 4, 1923, in Mexia, to the late David and Faye (Haddick) Holladay. She graduated from Littlefield High School in 1943. Hazel married W.E. Bud DuBois on Feb. 2, 1947, in Littlefield. Bud preceded her in death on Jan. 11, 2007.

She was a member of the Oakwood Baptist Church for 35 years and until recently, an active member of Zestful Singers. Hazel was Past Worthy Matron of Happy OES #562, and active with Top of Texas Depression Era Glass Club and the World War II Class Reunion Committees of Littlefield. She was also an avid Lady Raider Fan.

She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Bud DuBois; and one older brother, Dub Holladay.

Mrs. DuBois is survived by one son, Larry DuBois and wife Mary of Wisconsin; two daughters, Sandy Cosby and husband Mike of Tulia and Beverly Morehouse of Lubbock; one brother, Bob Holladay of Austin; one sister, Bettye Kate Smith of Littlefield; five grandchildren and two great grandchildren.

The family requests that memorials be sent to My Father's House 1510 South Loop 289 Lubbock, TX 79412.
