Heavenly Father has taken home a wife, mom, Grammy and friend on April 5, 2011 when Diane Louise Hall passed away in San Francisco, CA. She was vacationing with her daughter Debbie Hunt and her granddaughter Lindsi Hunt for their annual spring break trip.
One of Diane's proudest moments was graduation from Boise State in 1992 with an Associate's Degree in the health information field. She did this later in life and also held a full time job. Her job took her to Alaska, Arizona, California and Texas taking on challenges and meeting some really great people along the way.
Diane was born in Glendive, Montana to Arlo Whaley (deceased) and Margret Peirson (deceased) on January 18, 1948.
She is survived by her husband of 26 years, G. Blake Hall; a brother, James Whaley; and two sisters, Michele (Jim) Fairbanks and Marjorie (Dean) McMahon; two sons, Davey Metzger and Dean (Janet) Metzger; two daughters, Debbie Hunt and Dena Metzger; a stepson, Brian (Donna) Hall; and two stepdaughters, Lori (David) Scott and Dianne Townsley. The 17 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren were the love of her life.
She will be missed by her many friends, neighbors, extended family and the numerous hardship pets she has taken in and nourished as well. We miss you Diane; you will live on in all the memories each of us carry of your time spent with each of us.
A Memorial Service will be held at 4:00 p.m. Saturday at Trinity Lutheran Church in Nampa, Idaho at the corner of Midland and Lone star. A fellowship meal will follow the service.
