Tillie Jelinek, 84, of Red Cloud died Friday at her home.
Services will be Monday at 2 p.m. at the Simonson-Williams Funeral Home Chapel in Red Cloud with the Rev. Kenneth Doughman officiating. Burial will be in the Red Cloud Cemetery.
Mrs. Jelinek was born in April of 1901 in Red Cloud. She was a lifelong resident of the community and attended rural schools in Webster County.
In 1924 she was married to Joseph Jelinek and they made their home on a farm north of Red Cloud until 1955 when they moved to Red Cloud.
She was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary.
She is survived by her husband Joseph of Red Cloud; one sister, Mrs. Bessie Prochaska of Boulder, Colo.; and two brothers, Rudolph and Vencil Strobl, both of Red Cloud.
