Glenn F. Burton, 36, of 302 W. Van Buren Street, Nappanee, Indiana, died Thursday evening, July 27, 1989 at his home.

Born May 18, 1953 in Morehead, Kentucky, he was the son of Willie Burton and Thelma Umberger. A graduate of Rushville Consolidated High School Class of 1972, he was married Feb. 18, 1978 in Syracuse to Charlla F. Six, who survives. He was last employed at Ascot Enterprises in Nappanee. He had moved to Nappanee eight years ago from Rushville.

Survivors besides his wife include one son, Glenn Michael Burton, at home; his mother, Thelma Burton of Rushville; five sisters, Mrs. Ronnie (Joyce) Craft of New Castle, Mrs. Todd (Julanne) Braun of Chillicothe, Ohio, Mrs John (Barbara) Clinton of Carmel, Mrs. Hank (Vicki) Campbell of Arlington, and Mrs. Dwayne (Linda) Raab of Shelbyville; and two brothers, Ray of Indianapolis, and Steve of New Castle.

Services will be 10 a.m. Monday in Thompson and Yoder Funeral Home in Nappanee, Indiana withe the Reverend Rick Mailoux of the Brethern in Christ Church officiating. Burial will be in Union Center Cemetery in Nappanee. Visitation hours are 3-5 and 7-9 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.

My brother (Jerry) & I grew up with Glenn in Rushville. Many fond & funny memories to remember.
