Bea was 87 when she died at Davis Hospital. She was born in Grant County, the daughter of Joe Boyd and Sophia Ann Hartsell Black. She was reared and educated in Grant County and Little Rock. She moved to Pine Bluff in 1922 where she was a homemaker and a member of Central Presbyterian Church.
She married Noah Handy Clement in 1915. They had one daughter, Clua Clement O'Daniel Smith.
Funeral Services were held at Ralph Robinson and Son Mortuary with Rev.David J. Gallaher, Dale Gentry, and Bill Fitzhugh officiating. Pallbearers Harvey Edwards, Lavon Clement, Mike Edwards, Thurman Blackerby, Knox Nelson, Jerome Wesson, John Dalrymple, Jr., Charles Gibbs, and Walter M. (Buster) Simpson.
