Preceded in death by his siblings, Lewis, George, and Douglas Blagmon; and Fannie Holmes, Ruth Bundy, Helen Payne and Mary Bundy.

Retired from the Mount Vernon Motel and Kroger after many years of dedicated service. He was also a veteran of the United States Army.

A member and Deacon at Free Union Baptist Church, Stony Point Virginia, he was known for his charm and witty personality. He loved people and loved making them laugh. To know him was to love him. He never met a stranger and left a lasting impression on everyone he met. He loved singing gospel music and would break out in song at any given moment.

His precious memories will be cherished by his loving and devoted wife, Agnes Blagmon; daughters, Sharon Shippy, Kelly Gregory and Gloria Blagmon Tyree; one brother, Leroy Blagmon; two sisters, Lucy Hedgeman and Gladys Ashlock; eight grandchildren; seven great grandchildren, and a host of nieces and nephews that loved their Uncle Tom dearly. Along with family and friends that will cherish his memory forever.

A funeral service was held at Mt. Calvary Baptist Church, 3045 Morgantown Rd. Ivy, Virginia.
