Lawrence---Mrs. Viola Ammel, 76, of Tonganoxie, Kansas, died Tuesday at a hospital here. Mrs. Ammel was born in Havensville, Kansas and had lived in Tonganoxie 52 years. She was a member of the Baptist church. Surviving are her husband Philip Ammel, of the home; six sons; Robert Ammel, Lawrence; John Ammel, Parker, Kansas; Louis Ammel, 924B North 82nd Terrace, Kansas City, Kansas; George, Walter and Elmer Ammel, all of Leavenworth, Kansas; two sisters, Mrs. Pansy Gibeson, Topeka, and Mrs. Jennie Gibeson, Burney, California, and 15 grandchildren.
