CHURCH HILL - Mack R. Armstrong, Jr., age 39, of 115 Armstrong Circle, was DOA, Monday (November 10, 2003) at Wellmont Holston Valley Hospital & Medical Center.
Mr. Armstrong was a life long resident of Hawkins County and was a member of Elm Springs United Methodist Church. He was a graduate of Volunteer High School and was a former employee of the Hawkins County Press
He was preceded in death by his mother, Shirley Roberts Armstrong.
He is survived by by his father, Mack R. Armstrong, Sr., Church Hill; several aunts, uncles and cousins.
Calling hours are from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Johnson Funeral Home and anytime at the residence.
Services will be conducted Wednesday at 8:00 p.m. in the funeral home chapel with the Rev. Mike Cutshaw officiating.
Graveside services will be conducted Thursday at 11:00 a.m. at Elm Springs Cemetery.
