Leonard Alford, an operator at Chevron who retired in 1986 after 35 years, died at home. He was 69.
The native of McAlester, Okla., lived in San Pablo for 48 years. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and gardening.
He is survived by his wife of 49 years, Dorothy; sons, David B. and Mark Allen Alford, both of El Sobrante; and four grandchildren.
Services: Visitation 9-10:30 a.m. with funeral to follow Wednesday at Wilson & Kratzer in San Pablo. Burial at Rolling Hills Memorial Park in Richmond....
