Mrs. Anderson was a native of Coffee County, Ga. and a member of the Baptist faith. She was a retired school teacher in the Pulaski County School System. Mae was preceded in death by her husband, George Piney Anderson and son, George Piney Anderson, Jr.
Survivors include daughters, Tracee (Ron) Sealy of Hawkinsville, Ga. and April Anderson (Casey) Goble of Loganville, Ga.; brother, J. T. Ricketson of Ft. Valley, Ga.; sisters, Doris Batten of Douglas, Ga., Myrtle Matthews of Douglas, Ga., Mary Thacker of Broxton, Ga., Jean Latham of Waycross, Ga., Frankie Smith of Jamestown, N. C.; grandchildren, Brittany Wallace (Nicholas) Strait, April Mariyah Sealy, Keegan Anderson Goble, Kohen Andrew Goble; great-grandchildren, Abby Strait and Madison Sealy.
