Janet Cain, 83, passed away on December 27, 2015. She was born to Mary and Kenneth Utzman on June 21, 1932.She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband of 63 years, Stuart, and sister, Marilyn. She is survived by daughters Carole and Coleen, son David, sister Julie, brother Raymond and grandchildren Christy and Michael.Janet had a great love for her family. During her life she worked as a dealer at Harold's Club, as a volunteer librarian at Veterans Memorial School and as a cashier at the Gold N Silver restaurant. Janet had a great sense of humor and love of reading, movies and music. She is deeply loved and we will miss her dearly.There aren't enough words to thank the staff at Cascades of the Sierra for the joy and comfort they brought to our mother and our family, especially the staff of the Lodge.A brief graveside service will be held at the Bridgeport Cemetery, 46 Cemetery Road, Bridgeport, CA on January 15, 2016, at 1:00pm. O'Brien-Rogers & Crosby Funeral Home, Reno was entrusted with arrangements.
