Sgt. Duwayne K. Rhoden, age 36, beloved son and brother, was called to his heavenly home on Tuesday, May 15, 2007. Duwayne was a proud United States Army Sergeant currently stationed in Portland, OR. Duwayne was a defender of the Iraqi Freedom and a member of Camp Slayer. Duwayne is survived by his loving parents, Mose and Celia Rhoden of La Jara, NM, his siblings, Al Rhoden, Barry Rhoden and Nancy Andersen, 22 nieces and nephews and other family members and friends. Evening Services will be conducted on Sunday at 6:00 p.m. at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church Parish Hall in Cuba, NM. Funeral Services will be conducted on Monday morning at 10:00 a.m. at Our Lady of Guadalupe Parish Hall. Interment will follow at the Assembly of God Cemetery in Cuba, NM. Casket bearers will be Danny Rhoden, Mano Senteno, Paul Senteno, Philly Iving, Ty Iving and Jeff Andersen. Honorary bearers will be Barry Rhoden, Albert Carranza and Casey Hetlman.
