Betty Jane Naugle Agnew Remley, aged 93, died on 25 May 2018 at Timber Ridge Healthcare Facility in Wilkes Barre, Luzerne, Pennsylvania. The funeral service was held at noon Tuesday in Maple Grove United Methodist Church, with the Rev. James Pall officiating. A time of visitation was held from 10 a.m. to noon prior to the service in the church. Interment was in Maple Grove Cemetery, Pikes Creek, Luzerne, Pennsylvania.

To eight students of Lehman High School will go the honor of playing with the Northeast District Band at its annual concert the last of this month, it was announced this week by Joseph Clouser, director of the Lehman High School band. The local players, largest of any group invited to play in the concert, will join students from 18 counties and 35 schools in this section of the state to make up the 150 piece band, and are the only students to represent the Dallas area. They are: Lenora Parksand, Carol Crosby, solo cornetists; BETTY NAUGLE, solo clarinet; Ted Parks, first trombone; Dorothy Cornell, first horn; ALBERT AGNEW, first baritone; Roland Masters, bass; and Stewart Ehret, snare drum.

The Senior Class of Lehman Township High School will present its annual play, "Growing Pains" on February 18 in the high school auditorium with a cast of seventeen characters. Members of the cast are: Francis Chamberlain, Jean Renshaw, BETTY JANE NAUGLE, John Stafko, Arline Sutton, Josephine Crossen, Josephine Barto, Stanley Yancis, Herman Kessler, Jack Culp, Roland Masters, ALBERT AGNEW, William Jaquish, Naomi Smith, Martha Hadsall, Rebecca Wright and Freda Stroud.
