Obituary
Funeral services will be held Thursday, August 18, 2011 at a 10:00 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial in Evangeline Memorial Gardens Chapel in Carencro for Theresa Alleman Langlinais, age 80, the former Theresa Alleman, who passed away Monday, August 15, 2011 at 7:30 a.m. at Capital House Rehabilitation Center in Baton Rouge.
Interment will be in St. Peter Catholic Cemetery in Carencro.

Mrs. Langlinais was a native of Henderson and had lived most of her life in Lafayette. She was a parishioner of St. Jules Church in Lafayette.

Survivors include three sons, Wilson Langlinais and his wife, Esther, Perry Langlinais and his wife, Kathy, and Dwight Langlinais; three daughters, Judy Hebert and her husband, Steve, Rowena Hebert and Belinda Langlinais and her husband, Daniel; seventeen grandchildren; twenty one great grandchildren; one great, great grandchild on the way; one brother, Ovide Alleman; and two sisters, Bernida Cormier and Viola Trahan.

She was preceded in death by her husband of thirty-six years, Willis Langlinais; her parents, Alcide Alleman and the former Arthemise Hayes; two brothers, Joseph Alleman and Bennette Reed; and one sister, Anna Louise LaPoint.

Pallbearers will be Chad Langlinais, Todd Gaspard, Farin Gaspard, Bobby Mouton, Justin Mouton and Tory Langlinais. Honorary pallbearers will be Dwight Langlinais, Wilson Langlinais, Perry Langlinais, Steve Hebert and Steve LaPoint.

Melancon Funeral Home, Evangeline Memorial Gardens Chapel, 4117 N. University Ave., Carencro, Louisiana was in charge of arrangements.
