Mrs. Luna Dowell Rites in Cambridge
Funeral services for Mrs. Luna Floyd Dowell, 68, wife of Frank Dowell, of Pleasant City, who died Saturday at Good Samaritan hospital following a lingering illness, will be held at 2 o'clock Tuesday afternoon at the home of a daughter, Mrs. Ira Hall, of 719 North Eighth street, Cambridge, with Rev. William Hines, pastor of the Cambridge Lutheran Church, officiating. Burial will be in the Pleasant City cemetery.
Mrs. Dowell was admitted to the hospital Friday. She was a native of Summerfield, but had lived in Pleasant City most of her life. She was a member of the Pleasant City Methodist Church.
Surviving in addition to her husband are five daughters, Mrs. Edward Stilgenbauer, of Marietta; Mrs. Ira Hall, of Cambridge; Mrs. Cash Robinson, of Massilon; Mrs. Fred Huth, of 467 Yale avenue, and Mrs. Roy Atkinson, of Shinnick Circle, both of Zanesville; a son, Charles Dowell, of Millersburg, and a brother, John Floyd Dowell, of Freeport.
The body has been removed from the Harlan funeral home, of Byesville, to the home of her daughter, Mrs. Hall, in Cambridge.
