Lance Cpl. Gregory T. Buckley, 21, of Oceanside, N.Y., died Aug. 10 while supporting combat operations in Helmand province, Afghanistan. He was assigned to 3rd Battalion, 8th Marine Regiment, 2nd Marine Division, II Marine Expeditionary Force. Funeral services for Lance Cpl. Greg Buckley Jr. were scheduled for 2 p.m. on Aug 18 and open to the public at St. Agnes Cathedral, the heart of the Diocese of Rockville Centre.
