Homemaker/farmer. Also when younger went by the nickname "Birdie." Daughter of Jesse C. Crooks (1855-1918) and Anna E. Evans Crooks (1863-1946). Sister of Henry Crooks (1886-1954) who together were long time farmers (east of Sheridan Blvd. north of 120th Avenue), near Broomfield, Colorado; other siblings: James Crooks (1883-1956), and William O. Crooks (1901-1971). She was later, starting in 1957, a resident of the city of Broomfield, Colorado on Jade Street, and spent time on her large flower garden, and drove her 1939 Ford for probably longer than she should have. Member of varous organizations, including the Merri Mix Club and the Broomfield Garden Club. Lovingly called "Auntie" by her great nephews and nieces. Crowned Broomfield's Bicenntenial Queen in 1976. Mother of Alice May Foster (1911-1993). Grandmother of Doris Bernardini, McClean, Virginia, Eldridge Clarence Foster (1938-2014), Alexandra, Virigina and later of El Paso, Texas, and Nila Brummund, Broomfield, Colorado. Great Aunt of Joseph E. Koleski (1940-2004), James Crooks (1930-1930), Robert Crooks (1938-2017), Centennial, Colorado, and Evelyn Crooks Sawaya (1935-), Trinidad, Colorado.
