Jeremiah "Bullfrog" Jacob, 32 years old of Ponchatoula, Louisiana, passed away, Wednesday, May 21, 2014.
He was born on Sunday, April 4, 1982, in Hammond, La., son of Larry Jacob Sr. and Carol Jacob.
Jeremiah enjoyed the outdoors, from going down the river, to mud riding, to hanging around a campfire with many close friends and family. Jeremiah's personality was contagious, always able to put a smile on everyone's face.
Surviving are mother, Carol Jacob, father, Larry Jacob Sr., brother, Larry Jacob Jr. and wife Sharry, sister, Melissa Jacob, brother, Edward Jacob, sister, Janice Jones and husband Jason, sister, Susan Jacob, numerous nieces and nephews that he adored, Kali, Chad, Cory, Kyle, Michael, Haley, Blaine, Aubrey, Chandler, Dalton, Arianna and Wyatt and his sidekick, "River".
He is preceded in death by grandfather, Jeremiah "Jerry" Dewhirst, uncle, Walter Dewhirst and numerous close friends that he loved dearly.
Friends will be received Tuesday, May 27, 2014 from 5:00 pm until 9:00 pm at Harry McKneely & Son Funeral Home - Ponchatoula.
Visitation will resume at Harry McKneely & Son Funeral Home - Ponchatoula , Wednesday, May 28, 2014 at 8:00 am until Funeral Service begins at 10:30 am, with Deacon Larry Melancon officiating.
Interment will follow in the Sand Hill Cemetery Ponchatoula, Louisiana.
The family would like to thank all of the honorary families who took Jeremiah in and made him into the special person he grew up to be.
