Waterloo, Neb. March 1.--Chris Hvilson [sic], 83, pioneer resident of Waterloo, was killed instantly at noon Friday when he walked into the path of Union Pacific train No. 17, the Portland Limited. In crossing the tracks, Hvilson apparently became confused as to which track the train was traveling on, witnesses said.

Three sons survive, Otto (Hvilson) Wilson, hardware man at Waterloo; G. C., Mitchell, S. D.; and John C., San Diego, Cal., and four daughters, Mrs. William C. Christensen, Elba, Neb.; Mrs. L. C. Larson [sic], Mrs. A. M Larson, and Mrs. Martina Thrane of Omaha.
