God called home Patty Fisher, a very special person Nov.10, 2013. A celebration of Patty's life is planned for next spring. Patty is survived by her Son Ken, her daughter, Tara (Bob) Moorman of Cedar Rapids, Iowa and her Grand-daughter. She has, also, left behind a host of friends who will miss her dearly.

Patty was born in Erie, Kansas on Dec. 13, 1930 to Charles & Anna Nation. She attended school at Erie, Ks. and earned her teaching Certificate upon graduation. She was married to Richard Fisher in 1950. They later divorced.
Patty taught at Piatt, a one room school and also taught Kindergarten at Sedgwick, Ks. and went on to work in Retailing as a buyer for Hinkel's and Henry's Department Stores in Wichita.

After she retired, she spent many years as a tour guide for Goodwill Tours of Erie, Ks. and has visited every tourist destination's in the United States. She had many memories of her travel adventures and all the friends that she traveled with. She retired for the second time at the age of 79 and enjoyed many hours volunteering at the Erie City Libary.
Patty was an expert seamstress and loved quilting and making beautiful purses which she sold and gave to friends.
Patty was preceded in death by her parents and her daughter, Peggy Jo.

Memorials to Patty may be sent to the Erie City Library at 204 S. Butler in Erie, Ks. or to a Charity of the donor's choice.
