Birth: Apr. 13, 1796
Hartford County
Connecticut, USA
Death: May 25, 1885
Milwaukee County
Wisconsin, USA

Children: Warren Hill, Thomas Fox Hill, Adeline Amanda Hill Riddle Rork, Avery Hill, Charles Hill, Maria Hill, Homer Hill, and Dexter Daniel Hill.

NOTE: This is a cenotaph. She is actually buried in Wisconsin (here) where she died and where there is an interment record. That stone was placed at a much later date and is a memorial to her as a surviving true Daughter of the American Revolution. She spent her later years in Wisconsin, having moved there in a covered wagon following her husband's death.

In remembrance of "Grandmother Hill" a sparkling and plucky lady who brought her family to the territory of Wisconsin from Massachusetts; reared her children and left a legacy of leaders and builders.
