Florence L. Aydelotte, 74, died at Truth or Consequences, New Mexico where she had been for several winter months. She was a valley native, born at Monte Vista to John and Eva Petrie. Her husband, Elijah Aydelotte, died several years ago.
She was a licensed practical nurse and worked at the St. Joseph Hospital and at Willowcrest Nursing Home for many years.
She was a member of Seventh Day Adventist Church; Rebekah Lodge; Social Hour Club; and past president of America Legion Auxiliary.
Funeral services will be held today with Pastor Tony Gonzales officiating. Surviving is her son, Robert, of Sargents; a daughter, Elsie, of Alamosa; 8 grandchildren; 1 great-grandchild; two brothers, and 3 sisters.
