Brian W. Boggess, 508 W. Atlantic St., Appleton, age 33, died unexpectedly Sunday, March 13, 1994. He was born July 5, 1960 in Appleton, the son of Elaine (Schinke) Brockman, Appleton and the late Juel Boggess. Brian married the former Genia Kluba on March 14, 1981. She survives.

Brian was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church and was employed in the parts department at Les Stumpf Ford. He was an avid hunter and fisherman and was a great lover of the outdoors. He was a loving father who enjoyed spending time with his children.

Survivors include his wife, Genia Boggess, Appleton; a daughter, Monica, at home; a son, Cejae, at home; his mother and stepfather; Elaine (Harry) Brockman, Appleton; his father-in-law, George Kluba, Appleton; a brother, Dan Boggess, Appleton; two sisters; Linda (Mike) Schwamer, Clintonville; Laurie Boggess and her friend, Ray Gomm, Appleton; a brother-in-law, Greg (Rosemary) Kluba, Merrillville, Indiana; four sisters-in-law: Sandra (Jock) Wicinski, Appleton; Georgia Dryer, Neenah; Paula (Jerry) Van Stippen, Appleton; Kim (Mike) Winnett, Appleton; 14 nieces and nephews, a great-niece and two god-children; Kris Boggess and Kayla Winnett; his step-grandmother, Luella Brockman, Appleton.

He was preceded in death by his father, Juel Boggess; a brother, Steve Boggess; his grandparents: Henry and Hilda Schinke, Harold and Mary Boggess and his mother-in-law, Olive "Boots" Kluba.

Complete funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, March 16, 1994 at St. Paul Lutheran Church, 302 N. Morrison St. with rev. Ralph C. Waack and Rev. Martin P. Spaude officiating. Interment will be at Community Lutheran Cemetery, Freedom. Friends may call Tuesday from 4 to 8 p.m. at the Wichmann Funeral Home, 537 N. Superior St. and again Wednesday directly at the church from 1 p.m. until the hour of services. A memorial fund has been established. (The Post-Crescent, Appleton, WI, March 14, 1994)

The death of a 33-year-old Grand Chute man has been ruled a suicide.

Police and Outagamie County Coroner Dan Allain said the body of Brian W. Boggess, 33, was found about 10:10 a.m. Sunday in his car in the west employee parking lot at Woodman's Market, 595 H. Westhill Blvd.

Boggess died from a single shot from a 12-gauge shotgun, officials said.
