Son of the late Ralph and Alice O'Keeffe Goggin, he was the widower of Reatha Winchester Goggin (married on August 15, 1942, in Stillwater, OK). He was a veteran of the United States Army Air Corps (WWII, China-Burma-India Theater). He was a graduate of Oklahoma State University. He was an active member of the First United Methodist Church in Enid, OK, where his funeral was held on March 20, 2012. In addition to his parents and wife, he was preceded in death by his sister, Delsye Knisley. He was survived by his daughters, Kay Goggin and Mary Woods, both of Dallas, Texas; his son, Terry Goggin (Sylvia) of Dunwoody, Georgia; grandsons, Winchester Goggin (Crissy) of Sandy Springs, Georgia, and Daniel R. Goggin of Kansas City, Missouri; great-grandson, Lucas G. Goggin; and an extended family of relatives and friends.
