Mr. Prince Edward Perry, the son of the late Thomas and Mollie Foster Perry was born on April 25, 1904 in Franklin County. He departed this life on Sunday, November 15, 1970 at Maria Parham Hospital, Henderson, NC. He joined the Concord Baptist Church at a very early age and was a faithful member until his death. He was a member of the Usher Board where he worked very diligently.

Mr. Perry is survived by his wife, Mrs. Novella Brooks Perry, two daughters, Mrs. Princess Louise Hamme of Newark, NJ; Mrs. Mary Odessa Cheatham of Kittrell, NC and four sons, Mr. Walter Perry of Henderson, NC; Mr. Samuel Perry of Perth Amboy, NJ; Mr. Gilbert Perry of Yonkers, NY; Mr. Thomas Perry of Brooklyn, NY. Twenty-five grandchildren, eight great-grand children, four sisters, Mrs. Lucy Cook of Franklinton, NC; Mrs. Hattie Lewis of Louisburg, NC; Miss Tempie Perry of Kittrell, NC; Mrs. Mary Lizzie Kingsberry of Kittrell, NC. Two brothers, Mr. George Perry of Kittrell, NC; Mr. Frank Perry of New York City. Four daughters-in-law and two sons-in-law and an Uncle, Mr. Peter Foster of Kittrell NC and a host of relatives and friends.

The voice that we love is silent now
And cold are the helpful hands
But we know that God will use them both
In that beautiful heavenly land.
