Married Atha Irene Connel December 3, 1893, at Wylie in Collin County, Texas. They moved to Eula, Texas in 1912 and to Denton Valley, Callahan County, Texas in 1913. George was a farmer and owned several hundred acres of land east of Denton Valley on State Highway 36, on the south side of the road. They lived on their land until their deaths. They were the parents of eleven children. 1. Charles William Allen 1894-1965, 2. Hattie Ethel Allen McCormick 1895-1970, 3. Benjamin Nimrod Allen 1897-1949, 4. Betty May Allen Walker 1898-1987, 5. Troy Milton Allen 1900-1983, 6. Ralph David Allen 1902-1987, 7. Ray Sappington Allen 1906-1980, 8. Beatrice Batley Allen Franklin 1908-1985, 9. Bascom Zirkle Allen 1910-1980, 10. Velma Allen Gibson 1912-1996, 11. George Paul Allen 1916-1997.
